TIG Cut Lengths Now with Laser Printed Identification

Number of visits: Date:2012-11-05

Lincoln Electric is introducing laser printing on its Lincoln? line of mild steel GTAW cut lengths. During October we will be transitioning away from the process of coining/stamping the AWS classification on TIG cut length consumables to laser printing. The AWS classification will be marked along the entire length of the consumable, spaced 6 inches apart. This easy product identification will allow the operator to cut and distribute the electrode among multiple workstations while retaining the ability to identify the alloy. The change will affect all standard Lincoln? ER70S-2 and Lincoln? ER70S-6 electrodes.
